SOME recent Nomad Sportfishing clients were treated to an amazing sight at the remote location of Jewell Reef, when a massive school of giant trevally appeared on the surface in around 500m - check out the video below.
The school consisted of thousands of GTs ranging from 20-40kg, which were just milling around on the surface.
The mass GT sighting was another highlight of three weeks Nomad Sportfishing spent at Jewell Reef this year. There they reportedly encountered everything from huge GTs, to big black marlin, Spanish mackerel, and days catching over 100 coral trout, red bass and emperors in the shallows.

Nomad Sportfishing boss Damon Olsen with a GT that truly deserves the "giant" title.
