Platypus Pre-test Braid

Platypus introduces Platypus Pre-test Braid, an IGFA rated braid line. According to Platypus, IGFA attention to detail and rigorous testing has been applied to Platypus Pre-test Braid to ensure that it will break as close as possible (without overtesting) to the stated IGFA class. Every batch of the braid has been tested at manufacture with additional tests throughout the spooling process.

Platypus Pre-test Braid’s ultra thin diameter lets you fit more line on your reel and cast further.

Platypus is now using its well known Australian-made logo to increase consumer awareness of its Australian heritage. Still manufactured in Brisbane and family owned, the company has over 110 years of line making experience to keep it at the forefront of fishing line technology.

Pre-test Braid is available in 8–24 kg sizes, in natural white, at all good tackle stores.
