THE words of one of Australia's most highly regarded fishing writers, Ted Clayton, have been recorded on DVD.
Bribie Island identity Clayton, now in his eighties, was a regular feature writer throughout the 1980s and '90s for (the then titled) The Australian Angler's Fishing World (now Fishing World) a period during which he established a loyal following.
Clayton retired from regular fishing writing during the 1990s. He recently made it back into the pages of Fishing World via a typically perceptive and thoroughly entertaining article in the 2011 summer-long edition, titled The exploration of Inner Space.
In the special edition DVD "Fishing with Ted" Clayton's yarns are retold by well known actor William McInnes.
The official launch of the DVD takes place this Saturday in Caboolture when renowned marine biologist, Dr Julian Pepperell pays tribute to the works of Ted Clayton.
