Bonze lures now in Australia

THE name Bonze Fleet is well known in New Zealand game fishing circles. The young master lure maker and game boat skipper hails from the Bay of Islands and first started making lures while still at school - he caught a solid striped marlin on the first lure he ever made.

Since then he has travelled the world and fished with some of the best skippers and crews in game fishing. Along the way he learnt many secrets and everything he could about the fine art of lure trolling for gamefish.

Bonze has since won The Billfish Foundation's award for the most Atlantic blue marlin released, on two occasions, after spending multiple seasons as a Captain fishing in the marlin rich waters of Cape Verde and the Azores.

The quiet and unassuming Bonze is now starting to gain notoriety across the globe as a highly capable Captain and maker of fine trolling lures, now available in Australia. Bonze also has a range of very cool angling apparel that includes shirts, boardies, hats and hoodies.
